Sonus G2M demo with Logic Moog Sounds Guitar Synth

Having spent Monday desperately trying to get a solo sound for Blue Filter one of the sounds off my new album yesterday we got this very cheap £79.99 guitar to midi convertor which means i can now trigger(monophonic) keyboard sounds off my acoustic guitar. Now we have a few more options.... Let me know what you think? The moog sounds are off logic. Take it easy Matt

Wow, I see astounding potential - especially if you run the synth through the looper as well! It's like McLaughlin's photon interface for his nylon string. Very cool! Looking forward to hearing some trax. :)

Great stuff. Are you using it with the Macbook? If so, how is it connected?

Thanks for commenting Neil/Russ - Paul - yup running via a midi to USB cable straight to my macbook

Nice one. Wouldn't mind one for when I start doing some recording.

That's a good piece of kit - and doesn't cost nearly as much as a hexaphonic pickup. Maybe if you set particular pitches to trigger MIDI events, you could use it to control loops and the Kaossilator with no visible effects pedals on stage? Just a crazy thought that I'm sure wouldn't work. Look forward to hearing what you come up with.

Thanks Stephan - thanks James - top ideas re MIDI sadly the Kaossilator is non Midi but i'm thinking about getting a microkorg for synth noodles

I'm a violinist and wonder if it would work with my electric violin.

Any thoughts?

Hiya - yeah that should work fine - although be aware the tracking is a touch dodgy!
